DX10.1
Anyone running vista and a DX10 card might want to dissable auto update if not already done so. It would seem that among other things, like making DX10 cards obselete, The patch will force AA x4.
Not so good when you already take a hit on performance in vista for, what is at present only a slight increase.

The mid range DX10 cards up to 8600 will suffer greatly with this implimentation. And performance on next gen titles may be dire.

Ill correct and update this as I go but this move by microsoft seems to be a propper kick in the nuts for its own OS albeit a short lived OS if you are to belive the reports.
